Our 3 suggestions to customize your destination wedding in Portugal!

A destination wedding differs from a local wedding for several reasons – which won’t be covered today – and requires extreme customization.
You come from another country, probably with a different nationality, you have guests from other countries too and you chose Portugal to get married.
We do not believe that it is difficult to please everyone, but it needs to be thought out and executed, to maintain your identity, but with the Portuguese culture, always valuing the guests and you too.
So, here are the three fundamental ideas that you should always take into account when organizing your destination wedding in Portugal:

1 – REPRESENT YOUR NATIONALITIES – Your roots are very important to your history, so it makes perfect sense that you are represented on this day. For example, if you are organizing a Hindu wedding, the Priest must be Indian. If you come from the USA to have a rehearsal dinner the day before and a First Look session should already be in your plans. Never underestimate, or forget, your origins and what yours will be waiting for. Make a top 3 and just select an option if you don’t want to overload your identity.

2 – INCLUDE PORTUGAL – If you are getting married in Portugal, make sure you have memories of the country. Enjoy our gastronomy and wine culture to the fullest. In addition, even in terms of entertainment, hire a fado singer or if you are looking to surprise your guests with their unpredictability, invite a regional ranch group to perform during the cocktail party, and have fun watching co-workers dance this traditional Portuguese dance.

3 – ADD SOMETHING OF YOURSELF – Something representative of your path to this day cannot be missing. Think of something that characterizes you, whether it’s a song or a symbol, and make sure it’s there at some point at your destination wedding!

Having always these requirements in mind, we guarantee the fun and involvement of all those present!
