What if it rains?!

When we think about a wedding day, we imagine a day where the sun is shining and there are no clouds in the sky. The truth is, you can control (almost) everything, but still can’t control the weather. Today’s post is all about rainy weddings and how to get over it.

#1. Create a plan B or C since the beginning

Your planner must tell you all the possible scenarios that may happen on your wedding day and present you with all the possible solutions. Don’t accept a “don’t worry, it won’t rain on your day” or a “we’ll see it near the date” – it’s always better to have a back-up plan and be prepared for anything that may occur.

#2. Get to know the plan B or C

Once you visit your dream venue to get married at, make sure the vendors show you where you can have your ceremony inside a room or a tent. It’s undoubtedly better to have a wedding outside, but you need to think about where to do it if Ms. Rain decides to attend your wedding as well.

#3. Make your decision in advance

If rain is threatening to appear at your wedding, don’t wait for it until the big day to see if it’s going to be sunny or raining. You and your planner should start to focus on a back-up plan a week before, to make sure everything is done on time and that there are no setbacks.

Believe us: either it rains or not, we can assure you’ll still have a beautiful wedding ceremony with the love of your life and rain will be the last thing you’ll be thinking about.

Lots of love!
