On the coast just north of Porto, Mary Me works with a beachfront space and a woodland estate in Vila do Conde, with the Atlantic that the city and the valley don’t have. About 30 minutes from Porto airport, for up to around 300 guests, best from May to September.
Vila do Conde brings something neither Porto nor the valley can: the Atlantic, close to the city. A historic fishing and shipbuilding town with the monumental Santa Clara monastery and its aqueduct above the river mouth, plus beaches and famous bobbin lace, it sits about thirty minutes north of the airport.
It’s a smaller, coastal-heritage option: for couples who want the ocean near Porto rather than the wine country inland.
Here we work with Set Lounge Azurara, a beachfront space right on the Atlantic, and Bosque Eventos, a woodland estate a little inland for a greener setting. For more choice nearby, Porto and Gaia are twenty minutes south.
