Organizing a destination wedding in three months: possible or myth?!

Since MARY ME ® was born, it has always had unexpected and exciting stories that have helped the company to grow and expand.
And in the first years, in different Januarys, the phone rang every time, with three almost identical requests: three couples who wanted to organize their weddings in three months and celebrate them on the weekend of the arrival of spring.

The reason for this funny coincidence?!

They discovered, during the month of December, that they were going to be parents and, given that they all intended to have a civil marriage in Portugal – and all the bureaucracy that is inherent -, they needed our help to ensure that nothing would be left out, with so little time in advance!

In three months, MARY ME ® booked space, catering, a team of photographers and videographers, sent out invitations, helped with the civil wedding process, even at a distance, and also ensured that the fun was present!

Our team required organization and a lot of creativity, believe me!

On the part of all the suppliers, in turn, the involvement had to be very present, since, it is not possible to obtain a wedding dress “in constant adaptation”, and at a distance, easily.

Despite the rain that unfortunately was present, in these three weddings, the days were filled with good food and, of course, lots of fun!

How crazy (good!) those months were!

Our feeling of “mission accomplished” is still gratifying for the entire team.

So, if you live outside Portugal, and you only have 3 months to organize your wedding, think like this:
-It’s not impossible,
-You have to compromise and
-You have to make smart choices!
