The key to plan a destination wedding in Portugal is communication!

At MARY ME we believe that communication is essential during all stages of the process. In addition to geographical barriers, language can contribute to the fact that, during the process, some information is not interpreted in the way that is desired, for this reason, over the years, we have improved the way we communicate not only with our customers but also with our suppliers.

The available digital platforms are great allies but, in our view, they still fall short, if we think about the lack of physical contact, or body movements, as they help to ensure that understanding, by all parts, is as complete as possible.

If during the process, we can cross borders and know the expectations of our customers and convey how we manage to fulfill them, on the wedding day, there is no turning back and our wedding planners have to ensure that everything goes as expected.

In this sense, our wedding planners are tireless throughout the day to ensure that everyone knows what they do, how they do it, when they do it and where they do it.
Whether checking, together with the suppliers, that they are aware of the alignment already sent, whether it is making sure that each one of them knows what their intervention is, or directly with the guests, and whether they know what the order of the entrance procession is, etc.

There are countless moments in which, with a clipboard in hand and intercom radio in their ears, the coordination team takes a break and gathers those who have to meet so that communication is as clear as possible and that all those involved have received the information, exactly as it should have been.

Only with communication,  can everyone involved be aware of the plan to ensure, in common effort, the absence of failures!

Being able to “stop” multiple times during an event is tiring and often exhausting. Briefings do not always occur when we design them, but they are essential to analyze what we have ahead of us in real-time and decide what has to be done: how, when, where, and who has to do it.
Don’t we see another way to do it and you? see?
